This year there will be about 20 gardens open. Here is a selection of them.
Children, dogs and weeds are entertained in this family garden, which has an established feel, on high ground overlooking the valley. In recent years the adjoining field has been incorporated and planted with trees, wild flowers and fruit trees.
A garden of about half an acre surrounded by
paddock and meadow. It comprises a herb garden, old-fashioned and modern shrub
roses, pond and bog gardens, raised vegetable beds and formal flower beds. The
planting is designed to encourage wildlife and use of chemicals is kept to a

Under new management!
We are new to the area so this will be our first open garden. We have already enjoyed 5 months of toil in our new one acre garden. The garden includes a large variety of trees, spacious borders packed with perennials, shrubs and herbs, a wild life pond and thriving vegetable patch. Additionally there is a view which takes in Chelsworth Church. We are looking forward to meeting all of you!
Lots of grass, trees and hedgerows running down to the river Brett, with informal herbaceous rose and shrub borders and beds. Displays of annuals in troughs, pots and hanging baskets around the cottage.
Small organic garden with several varieities of old roses and raised vegetable beds.
A two acre garden tucked away at the west end of the village. Numerous island beds filled with interesting shrubs and herbaceous plants. The river Brett runs along the boundary between the garden and the countryside. There are two ponds, one of which contains Koi.
